Best E'er Strawberry Topping

This topping rates v out of v stars for an H2O ice cream topping, only it is also DELICIOUS over pancakes, pound cake, cheesecake too correct out of the jounce alongside a large spoon!! It is prissy too thick too brilliant ruddy (not a hint of watery-ness........is that a word?) 

It is economical to make for a large crowd too it keeps good inward the refrigerator for a yoke of weeks.

Only TWO ingredients!!

 

 

2 pounds of frozen strawberries

1 loving cup of sugar

 

I purchase large bags of mass frozen strawberries from our local discount store. I allow them thaw for close 1/2 hr or so, too hence I pulse them inward the nutrient processor several times until you lot larn a fairly modest dice.

 

Add one loving cup of sugar, stir too lay it inward a heavy bottom kettle (heavy bottom kettles assistance it get only non scorch). Cook on medium high rut until you lot larn a expert boil going, too hence plough downwards the rut to a medium low boil too get for xx minutes, stirring every few minutes.

 

After xx minutes, take away from rut too skim off whatever pinkish foam. That's it!!  Chill inward the refrigerator earlier using. Makes four cups of topping.
